The new Erasmus+ program was approved by the European Parliament for the 2021-2027 period and came into effect on January 1, 2021. All projects started in 2019 and 2020 that have not been completed are governed by the rules of the previous 2014-2020 program. All projects initiated in 2021 follow the philosophy of the new approach by the European Commission, where the central pillars are digitalization, inclusion, and ecology.

CIFP PAU CASESNOVES ERASMUS+ POLICY STATEMENT

Within the new 2021–2027 framework, the ECHE Charter determines the actions to be carried out by institutions offering higher-level vocational training cycles, while the KA120 accreditation applies to medium-level and basic vocational training cycles. Our institution holds both certifications to provide every opportunity to our students and staff.

The Erasmus+ program is part of the Europe 2020 strategy, the Education and Training 2020 strategy, and the Rethinking Education strategy. It encompasses all initiatives related to education, training, youth, and sports.

This new program focuses on both formal and informal learning beyond EU borders, with a clear commitment to internationalization. It opens up to third countries with the aim of improving the educational and training capacities of individuals to enhance the employability of students, teachers, and workers.

Since the 2007–2008 academic year, Pau Casesnoves has held the Erasmus University Charter granted by the European Commission, which was renewed in 2014 for a six-year period and adheres to the Erasmus Policy Statement. This recognition enables our students and teachers to participate in mobility projects funded by the European Union.

Since the 2024–2025 academic year, CIFP Pau Casesnoves has been a member of the consortium of the Ministry of Education and Universities for both the EuroFP Balears VII project (2023-1-ES01-KA121-VET-000131830) and the EuroFP Balears 8 project (2024-1-ES01-KA121-VET-000211500). Starting from the 2025–2026 academic year, it is also a member of this consortium for the EuroFP Balears 9 project (2025-1-ES01-KA121-VET-000327092).
