By studying this training cycle, you will obtain the qualification of Higher Technician in Renewable Energy Sources, and you will learn to manage the operation of wind farms and perform their maintenance. In addition, you will learn how to carry out the assembly and upkeep of photovoltaic solar installations in accordance with safety protocols and risk prevention measures. Likewise, you will acquire the skills to organize the assembly of electrical substations by developing plans and supervision criteria. You will also be taught to evaluate occupational and environmental risk situations related to the assembly and maintenance of wind turbines and wind farms, and to specify prevention measures for the various types of risks.

Characteristics of electrical systems, power plants, and their installations (materials, machines, equipment, protection, measurements, etc.).

  Remote Control and Automatisms (140 h/4 h weekly)

Characterization of instrumentation and measurement elements. Verification and assembly of actuators. Configuration of automated installations, transmission systems, and communication for remote control. SCADA-type software. Verification of surveillance networks and access control using security and alarm systems.

A cross-disciplinary module that provides the information needed to recognize the importance of digitalization in various productive sectors and its role as a transformative element in the economy.
