Expectedly from September to February, before starting at the companies.

By studying this training program, you will obtain the qualification of Technician in Motor Vehicles Electro mechanics , and you will learn how all the mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components of a car, a motorcycle, as well as other vehicles for industrial applications, work. You will be able to diagnose malfunctions and analyze their causes, verify components, and perform preventive maintenance. You will be able to work as a mechanic and electrician, assembler, and sales representative in the automotive sector.

Engines (190 h)

Practical study involving the disassembly, assembly, and operation of 2-stroke, 4-stroke, and Diesel engines.

Fluids Circuits. Suspension and Steering (275 h)

Suspensions pneumàtiques, amortidors, direccions manuals i assistides, alineació, etc.

Charging and Starting Systems (190 h)

Studies on electrical systems, resistances, charging systems with dynamo and alternator, starters, etc.

Safety and Comfort Systems (100 h)

Study, assembly, and testing of air conditioning systems, audio equipment, airbags, and more.

Elementary Mechanisation (90 h)

Study and handling of various machines used in automotive workshops, such as lathes, milling machines, drills, grinders, etc

Professional Training and Guidance I (90 h)

Labor legislation and basic knowledge to enhance employability.

Digitalization Applied to Productive Sectors (30 h)

A cross-cutting module providing insights into the importance of digitalization across different productive sectors and its role as a transformative force in the economy.

2nd Year (NEW Study Plan)

Auxiliary Electric Circuits of the Vehicle (190 h)

Study, disassembly, assembly, and functional testing of systems such as turn signals, hazard lights, brake lights, etc.

Engine Auxiliary Systems (275 h)

Study, disassembly, assembly, testing, and diagnostics of fuel injection systems for gasoline and Diesel engines, spark and electronic ignition systems, carburetion, turbochargers, etc.

Transmission and Braking Systems (230 h)

Study with disassembly, assembly, and testing of clutches, manual and automatic gearboxes, torque converters, hydraulic brakes, ABS systems, and more.

Develop skills to create a small business, performing administrative and financial management tasks.

Intermodular Project  (50 h)

Maintenance of Propulsion Systems in Hybrid and Electric Vehicles. (80 h)

Performing maintenance, accessory fitting and transformation operations in the areas of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and motor vehicles electricity, adhering to established procedures and times and complying with quality, safety and environmental protection specifications.

  • UC0626_2: Maintain vehicle charging and starting systems.
  • UC0627_2: Maintain vehicle auxiliary electrical circuits.
  • UC0628_2: Maintain vehicle safety and comfort systems.

Maintenance of the Engine and Its Auxiliary Systems (TMV048_2)

  • UC0132_2: Maintain the thermal engine.
  • UC0133_2: Maintain the auxiliary systems of the thermal engine.

Maintenance of Power Systems and Running Gear of Motor Vehicles (TMV047_2)

  • UC0130_2: Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, steering, and suspension.
    UC0131_2: Maintain transmission and braking systems.
